When are you open?

     We are open - and flying everyday, 365 days a year, excluding major holidays - weather permitting! We generally operate our Robinson R-44 helicopters between the hours of 10am - 8pm, however, earlier and later time slots are available.

What is the age limit?

     There is no age limit, however small babies and children don't always cooperate!  All passengers will have the opportunity to wear noise-canceling headsets - so as to be able to communicate with the pilot and each other. Children up to two years of age may ride in an adult's lap (not recommended!).  FAA regulations require that all other passengers, two years of age and older, have their own seat.

How many passengers does your helicopter accommodate?

     Our helicopter has room for three (3) passengers and a pilot.


Is their a weight limit?

     Yes! The total weight limit per seat - is 280 lbs. However - the total weight that our helicopters are capable of lifting is 900-lbs. including fuel, cargo, and all passengers. The pilot will always have the last say as to who may fly, and for balance issues - may even determine passenger placement (i.e. - front or back).


Is it safe for pregnant women to fly?

     Yes. Helicopter flight will not induce labor, etc.*


     * HOWEVER - The FAA asks that all woman who are at least 6 months pregnant - not board ANY aircraft (in case of an emergency!).


How far in advance do I need to book my flight?

     In an ideal world - you would book here - on-line at least 1 - 2 weeks in advance. Please try to book at least 24 - 48 hours in advance. We accept online bookings up until midnight the night before. We do take same-day reservations but booking a flight isn't guaranteed.  We also accept reservations for up to one year in advance.


Can the helicopter doors be removed?

     Not for tours! We prefer to keep all of our doors on. Our helicopter is quite comfortable - and is equipped with air conditioning and heat, leather seats, bubble windows for greater visibility, and voice-activated headsets.


Can I bring my camera?

     Yes - you may take all the pictures and videos you desire! Small bags and purses are permitted. Because of weight limitations, we do not allow any big bags or large backpacks.


Do I need an ID on me?

     YES! - you will need an I.D. Every adult must bring a photo ID with them, such as a driver’s license, passport, etc.


How do I book a group or customized tour?

     Please call our reservation department. 9:00am - 6:00pm CDT. (832.844.1860)


What happens if I need to cancel my flight?

     If you need to cancel your reservation, please contact us at least 24 hours prior to your scheduled flight in order to avoid forfeiting your tour. Cancellations with more than 24 hours notice may reset their flights for another day and time, or simply ask for a full refund (less the 6% booking fee).

FAA Passenger and Weight Restrictions:

  • THREE passengers is the maximum capacity.

  • All children 2 years of age and older must have their own seat.

  • We are not able to carry any passenger weighing over 280 lbs.

  • The total weight of all passengers, not including the pilot, is limited to a total of 560 lbs.
