National Helicopter Solutions is a veteran-owned and family-operated company and was created as a direct response to the growing wild hog problem in Texas.
A veteran of ten years, former US Army Sergeant - Thaddeus (Joe) Walz, utilized his G.I. benefits to secure his commercial helicopter pilot's license. In September 0f 2013, Joe left his military service behind and brought his family back home to Texas. And along with his best friend and cousin, Norbert (James) Walz - incorporated their company and began flight operations in December of that same year.
After that initial hunting season, Joe and James turned their attention to the other helicopter operations they had in mind. These now include tours over the city of Houston, charter flights, aerial photography, wedding departures, engagement proposals, gender reveals, birthdays parties, wildlife management and surveys, cattle herding, and utility / pipeline inspections - just to name a few!
We are based out of West Houston Airport, the city's only 24-hour, full-service, and private airport. We are currently operating with one Robinson R-44 Raven II helicopter. It is equipped with air-conditioning and heat, and may carry up to three passengers.
We promise to deliver professional, safe, and exciting helicopter travel in the skies over the city of Houston and "Greater" Texas.
We thank you for your consideration.
